So SOLID ROCK 2007 was AMAZING!! I had a lot of fun and I learned SOO much! I made a lot of new and great friends I will keep in my life forever! I have a lot of awesome memories with these people and I have never met soo many teens soo fired up for GOD!! I remember one of the guys named Matt say that he thought he was the only JESUS FREAK, loving music kid when he was at his school...until he came to SOLID ROCK. Then he met 50 JESUS FREAK, loving music kids! -lol- I think that "quote" is soo AWESOME and soo true! I have never met soo many kids my age loving music as much as I do. Staying at CCU was ok...but tour was the best. The host families I stayed with were awesome as well and they made me feel right at home. One of the host families husbands asked me and some other girls that were there if we felt like rocks star since we sang at a different place everywhere and were getting to stay with different people every night..and not to mention people cheering for us and what we do. I kinda agreed with him but I told him that I felt right at home b/c of show choir! Performing for that week was soo awesome and rewarding. I got to met some awesome people and hopefully changed some people on the way! So SOLID ROCK 2007 changed my life and my view on some things and I thank GOD for letting me have that chance to share my music and how much I love GOD with other people just like me!!

So Show Choir camp was really hard and tiring this year. I don't know why that is b/c last year wasn't this bad. I just think it is b/c I danced my butt of this year and I know what every dance move is and I know how to do it right! -lol- The cool thing is...the dances that Andy taught us are AWESOME and a lot of fun to dance. Our first song is SOO different than anything anyone in the Show Choir world has seen. Everyone's mouths will hit the floor when they see us this year..plus you can hear us this year!!(: -lol- I think having 44 this year is a HUGE help. It was SOO awesome to hear all these complements from Andy(which doesn't happen hardly at all) and from other past members saying that we are the group from my freshman year. That is a HUGE complement b/c that year was when the group won everything and every comp.!! I was soo happy to hear that..plus Andy told Mr. Farrell that people at the camp show will be FLOORED when they see us...and they were! We are AWESOME this year and I can't wait for comp. and to learn the rest of our show!!! When I get the scedual(sp?) for comp. and concerts...I will post them on here!!

Well...I know that I havn't blogged hardly at all...but I think you all see that I have been REALLY busy!!

Indians game with friends

Hello all!

Yesterday me and a couple of friends drove to Cleveland to watch an Indians game. It was a lot of fun and I cant wait to do it again in Aug. when the Indians play the Yankees!! So..Liz Dean, Dave Pick, and I left my house at 2:30 and ended up being an hour early for the game. Which, that wasn't a bad thing because it took us awhile to find a parking spot. I never knew how SCARY Cleveland was till you are there without your parents and being 18! -lol- So we payed for our tickets and headed in the park. We got to watch batting practice and see all the players up close. It was pretty cool to because our seats were 20 rows up from the field...which that is pretty close!

The game was great! The Indians won 5-2 against the A's and Sibathia(sp?) pitched a GREAT game! Travis Hafner hit a homerun last night and that helped boost up the Tribes confidence! So after the game, Liz, Dave, and me headed for McDonalds and eat something really quick before heading home. We got home about 12:30 and I was kinda happy to be home because I was SOO tired and my leg hurt from my surgery!

All in all, I had a lot of fun and it was GREAT to be with some friends that I havnt seen since school let out! I took some pics and ill put them on here later!

Life is AMAZING

Hello all!

Church camp at JCreek=AMAZING!!

I learned SOO much about GOD and me. It was a GREAT experience and I have taken a lot home with me. Everything was AMAZING!! The preacher(Brent)....the messages he gave....my team builder Tracy....my BIBLE study leader Lindsey...my GREAT friends I made....and the memories! I cant wait till next year and I feel like there are BIGGER plans for JCreek and myself. The best thing that I brought back from camp was God's calling for me. I know now for sure it is ministry through vocal music. I mean...I thought about it a lot awhile back and really nothing happend, so I just stoped. But b/c of JCreek, God has given me the signs....if you want to call it that....to go into ministry and to share God's word through singing. It was just AMAZING how it happend and I will tell you all about it when I get back home.

So Show Choir is pretty much in full swing right now. When I was at church camp, everyone had a camp out and a car wash. I think God has a lot in store for us this year and I am SOO excited!!

So i found this pic on Courtney's myspace and I thought it was pretty funny! It was on the Seniors last day of school! Man...I am going to miss these guys SOO much and all of the memories that was made w/all of these guys...but this year....b/c I am going to be a Senior...it's going to be AMAZING!!!!!!

Well, that is all I have for now. Sorry it has been SOO long since I have blogged, but I have been ONE BUSY GIRL!! -lol-

Needed Prayer

Hello all!

So I need a lot of prayer for Jason Deskins and his brother! On Friday night, Jason and his brother were in the car together driving around. They had to be going REALLY fast because they hit a ditch and flipped the car from end to end 7 times! Jason had to be lifeflighted(sp?) to OSU. He broke his neck and it is going to be 3-4 months till he recovers! We still don't know who was driving, but I am pretty sure that I will find out soon! He is missing out on a lot and NOW, he can't get into the Navy!): Jason's brother is in real bad condition as well! He didn't get hurt in the reck, that we know of. But on Monday, Jason got a call at show choir practice saying that his brother got arrested for drugs in his car and they have to send him some place for rehab! Jason was my date for prom and when he got the call, he sacrificed not going to prom to pay for his brother to go and to be with him because he said that he loved his brother a lot and that they are really close! My parents and I think that his brother was driving and he was high, but we are not for sure. That is just what we think because that doesn't make since that a sobber person would of been going that fast to flip the car from end to end 7 times! This all just doesn't make since to me! Oh well, I will probably find out more on Monday at school during 10th period and I will update when I find out!

We all just need your prayers because of this tragic accedent that happend because the show choir needs him, since Cabaret is coming up in 3 weeks!

Today was hard!

Hello all!

Let me tell you all, today was VERY hard to get up at 6! I wasn't use to getting up that early because all of Spring Break, I slept till after 12! I know, I know, LAZY! -lol- Well, that is what I do. I sleep late on the weekends because I have nothing better to do.(:

School was school today!): I just relized that I have 2 projects due by Wed. because I am going out of town Wed. evening for Pigeon Forge, Tenn. for my sister's softball tourny. Along with that, I have to retake a Chem test tomorrow because my score wasn't very good and it was just a LOOONG day! I felt horrible all day because I got in bed late last night and I just didn't feel like going back! Plus, it was a Monday and to top it all off, a Monday after Spring Break! -lol- Then, my choir director yelled at me and the rest of the Sop. 1 section today for "talking", which wasn't the case today, and not knowing where he was at! Heck, I was following along and I was STILL lost! -lol- I guess I just wasn't all there today, but I mean, who would?

So, after school, I came home and ate 2 hotpockets and some ice cream and hit the couch for a nap before a 3 hour Show Choir practice. So I slept from 4:20-5:30. It felt really good and it was MUCH needed sleep. After I woke up, I had to rush out the door to get to the school to get ready to learn some new chorography for our Cabaret Show. Mr. Farrell(director) told us that we only have 4 weeks to learn our whole show. We are all a little freaked out and scared that we wont get it done in time. Other than that, practice went ok and it was pretty fun. Our new dance we learned for Magic Crapet Ride by Steppenwolf is really cool and A.J.(dance caption) is doing a GREAT job at making up the dances and teaching us.

Well, that is all I have for the night. I need to get in bed so I can wake up early AGAIN for school in the morning!):

Easter Sunday!

Hello all!

So today is EASTER!!(: What a great day it was! Getting to Church before the sun came up and singing to GOD, to glorify HIS name!(:

Church was AWESOME today! Sun rise service and regular service as well. Stan did a wonderful job and his messages were great both services! I had a solo today in regular service and it was a blessing for me. I am so happy that GOD made me feel at ease so I could go up there and sing for HIM. I think it is so awesome that when you pray to GOD to put you at ease or help you, he does, as long as it is for HIM.

After Church, my mother and I went to Wal-mart to get some food to fix Easter dinner. As well as getting food, we ran into the Easter Bunny!(: The Easter Bunny gave my sisters and I some small gifts as well. Then we came home and as soon as I entered the house, I ran to the couch to take a nap. When I woke up at about 7, I smelt the WONDERFUL smell of mashed potato's, ham, stuffing, green beans, and cookies!(: That has to be the BEST thing to wake up to.

To top Easter off, I just found out that Kimmy Slark, a friend I met through Miss. Steph Lindeman, is ENGAGED!!!(: I am SO happy for her and it has to be the cutest thing to get engaged on Easter!(:

GOD works in WONDERFUL ways and I can't thank HIM enough for everything he has given me and done for me! Also, I am SO thankful for everything HE has done in everyone else's lives.

Hello Once Again!

Hello all!

So yesterday was ONE ROUGH day for me! It all started when I dreaded getting up at like 11 that morning because I had to clean the house and mow. I was all nice and warm, snuggled up underneath my huge blanket, and I said to myself "I can get up at like 1 and get the house all done and the grass mowed before mom gets home. No worries!" Oh was I wrong! I started at 1 and didn't get done till 6! Cleaning would of been fine if my little 11 year old sister wasn't there to nag me and drive me NUTS the whole time!!! To top that off, it was snowing and I was happy to see that because since it was SNOWING, I wouldn't have to mow! HAHA WRONG! I called up my dad at work and told him it was too cold to mow and it was snowing. Oh man, I shouldn't of said it was too cold because he went off! He was going to make me mow and he said it wasn't to cold. He was like, "It's only 40 degrees outside, it's not too cold to mow. You get out there and mow atleast the front and side of the house and you can be done!" I have NEVER been so mad at my dad for him saying some of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Did he want his daughter to get sick, JUST so she could mow the grass? Is he nuts? Oh I believe so! It's the stupid meds for his knee talking I guess. So, we got in a HUGE fight about it over the phone, and then he started yelling at me saying that I dont appreciate him and what he does enough, I always use attitude towards him, and that he is NEVER going to do anything for me EVER again! Then he started saying that when he got home, he would mow then grass and started making me feel bad because he has to have knee surgery the 21st! Man, I have NEVER been soo upset before, and I thought that other times that he has made me mad was bad! HAHA NOOO WAY!!! So, after all that was done, i was cleaning the house and trying to get it done and get ready to go to church at the same time. Not the easiest thing to do, so I stoped for like an hour to get myself ready because I thought I would get yelled at by my mother for not being ready to walk out the door when she got home from work, rather then getting yelled at for not sweeping a rug or two. HAHA, WRONG ONCE AGAIN! I was upstairs with my door opened, finishing up getting ready when my mother walked in. As soon as she stepped foot into the house, she didn't say anything. She just put her hands on her hips, looked up at me, and said, "Allison, this is not good enough! What have you been doing all day? By the looks of this house, I can tell nothing!" Oh man, I flew off the handle as soon as she said that one. Along with her yelling at me, I had my dad, ONCE AGAIN, yelling at me too for the same reason! I don't know why the house looked like it hadn't been touched because I did EVERYTHING on that STUPID list she gave me to do!

I guess things got better when we went to Buckeye for church because at least she seemed in a better mood! -lol- Church was nice, but not what I thought it would of been. I thought that it would of had more music and drama put into it. I mean, don't get me wrong! It was nice, Stan read some things about Jesus and his way up to be hung on the Cross and the music that we sang and the woman and the man sang, was good. Just not what I hoped for I guess, I don; know.

Anyway, after we got in the car, everyone was hungry. So we went into Grove City to Cicis Pizza! Oh man, did it taste good! -lol- Poor Steph! I felt soo sorry for her because she couldn't have the crust of the pizza because of the carbs. Well what am I saying, I'm not allowed to have the crust either becuase of my heart too, but I eat it anyway because it tastes SOOOOO good! -lol- It was just Steph, Tiff, and me at one table. Then it was my mom, my sister Suzanne, and Carleta at the other. It was fun eating with everyone and having a good time, and then watching my mom get hit on by a Mexican who works there. HAHAHA, mother like daughter I guess because I got hit on by the same guy! -lol-

So after dinner and we were walking out the door, Steph goes over to my mom and says, "How much do you love me?" HAHA my mom knew what she was going to ask and without Steph saying anymore, my mom said, "Uh Yes, she can go over and stay with you and Tiff." -lol- That was SOOO funny! My mom knew what she was going to ask and she didn't have to say my name and stay with me in the sentence! -lol-

After my mom droped all of us off, we went into Steph's room and hung out! It was SOO much fun because we gave Tiff a BUTT SANDWITCH! It was AWESOME!(: -lol- So we all just hung out and ate Doritos till 4 the next morning! It soo much fun! It put me in a MUCH better mood and I thank GOD for giving me the time to spend with Steph and Tiff.

So, tomorrows Easter!(: I am SOOO excited because it is the day that Jesus rose from the dead! That is SOO GREAT to think about because he was nailed to a cross and in 3 days, he came back to life and went and spent time with his people!(: So, tomorrow Steph, Carleta, me and some other people from the church are singing two songs during church. One song opens up church and the other song is during specail music. During the song we are singing in special music, I have a solo!(: YAY FOR ME! HAHA yea, I know I am going to be SOOO scared tomorrow to sing that solo, but I am doing it for GOD and thats all that matters!(:

Hello Blogger World and the Many Readers!

Hello all!

So, I'm sitting at Steph's house right now wondering why I actually made one of these! I guess it is just because I have nothing better to do then post what is going on in my life at this very moment and wanting everyone to read it! I guess this is better then letting everyone read whats going on here then on myspace or xanga! -lol-

So, I went to Steph's English class today, as well as Tues. Today was a lot better because they didn't JUST talk about projects, which I hear enough about everyday, 8 periods a day at my WONDERFUL high school! I figured out that college wasn't all that it was cracked up to be and how much my opinions went down because of that class! I mean, don't get me wrong, it was pretty cool to sit in on a college class, but it was a class that I am not even going to school for! On the bright side, I got to see Aaron!(:

Hmmm, now about Aaron! -lol- Thanks to miss. Steph, I finally have a guy who is a solid christian and not a "fake" one like Zach! I know it is not right to judge Zach about his walk and how strong he is with Christ, but there is something totally different about Aaron's walk then with Zach's. With Aaron, you can just tell he is strong by the way he carrys himself and acts, unlike Zach! Zach thought he was "Mr. Tough Guy" and didn't show any emotions! Aarons good at that! -lol- I am just glad that Steph found a great guy for me and I thank God for both of them!(: The thing though with the whole "relationship" thing, I don't want to rush into anything because of the two bad relationships I have been through in the past! Verbal abuse, crying 2 or 3 times a week, and being miserable for about 3 months! I really like Aaron, but I don't want to rush into anything that I am going to regret He is a good guy and all and I don't think I have to worry about anything, but I don't want to chance it!

Anyway, lately my walk with Christ has been a roller coaster ride! Up and down, up and down! Some days are good and others are not to hot! I pray and pray to make everyday a good day, but the Devil just LOVES to interfere with that! GRRR THE STUPID DEVIL!!! -lol- Oh well, I guess you take day by day and pray that God will help you through the day with your eyes on Him!

Ok, I guess I am going to go chill with Steph, since we have been together everyday of Spring Break! -lol-
